If my shadow dies I die

Who among us cannot empathize with the struggles of not being able to complete one work? How can one hope to thrive in the fruits of thy labor if thy labor is neverending? Our Alchemist aims to develop the Alchemic Circle that finally creates gold! However, they struggle to do it alone. Why do you ask? Well, two Alchemists having an infinite gold source would crash the economy! Gold's value must be kept high so that their achievement is kept valuable! As such, our Alchemist sits alone by the fire, contemplating what to do...

Looking around, they noticed that they were not alone. No... Wherever they go, their shadow is right behind them. And not even a single gold piece was given to our greedy Alchemist as rent for allowing them to exist. Not anymore, our Alchemist is going to put that shadow to work. Rumors of Alchemical Circle pieces in the Shadow Realm have been growing as of late. And not even the dangers of Dragons and their Magical Shadows are going to keep our Alchemist from their INFINITE GOLD.

Off to adventure! Off to glory! Off to financial freedom!

  • If you are touching the left or right border and you jump, the jumping won´t work and your character stays in the jumping animation. To get out, just stop touching the border and jump again.

I really liked this a lot. I like that you have to pay attention to both parts of the screen, had trouble at first, but once I got what was going on, I really like it! Love the game boy esque art style, music is good, the levels felt repetitive, not really sure what the pickups are for other than to win, and I ran into an issue where I went to next level and WASD didn't work, dying and replaying level fixed it. Great work

Absolutely madness. Loved the 3D aspect of it, loved the music and the visual style. This is also hard AF. dang. what a great game.
